From pursuing judgments and settlements for his clients in the range of millions of dollars, to defeating frivolous claims brought against his clients, to protecting their constitutional and intellectual property rights, Charles’ focus on building the best team for his clients has proven time and time again to deliver results.

Litigation Practice

Charles made his first court appearance the same week he was admitted to the bar, and in the ten years since, he has appeared in state and federal trial courts, arbitrations, and courts of appeal in pursuit of his clients’ rights. Although each case and each client is unique, Charles’ experience with a wide range of claims involving breaches of contract, business and intentional torts, statutory violations, and constitutional rights allows him to provide comprehensive legal advice and develop thorough litigation strategies.

Transactional Work and Business Advice

Many clients who first come to Charles for litigation assistance continue to reach out to him for further advice and assistance to help them protect their intellectual property, to resolve both intra- and inter-company disputes, and to develop sound internal policies and procedures that foster stability and growth for their businesses.

Education and Background

A life-long resident of Southern California, Charles earned his B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he double majored in history and political theory. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of California, Irvine School of Law where he focused on commercial and environmental law and was recognized on the Dean’s List for his work in International Business Transactions and Business Law. Charles began his career at Robinson & Robinson, LLP, where he built a strong foundation in business litigation and the ethical and responsible practice of law.

Outside of the office, one of Charles’ passions is supporting charities and organizations that focus on animal rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption services as each of his own beloved pets are rescues. Charles also enjoys baseball (Go Dodgers!) and a good cup of coffee
